CONDITIONS FOR USE OF MILKY WAY
CAFÉ’S BANQUET FACILITIES
FUNCTION ROOM ASSIGNED
A more suitable function room may be
assigned to your group should the number of
guests and/or setup requirements change. The
Minimum Food Consumption (MFC) will be applied
accordingly.
SECURITY
Milky Way Café cannot assume
responsibility for loss or damage of personal
property or equipment left in the function room.
Additional security services can be arranged on
your behalf to be charged to the client’s
account.
GUARANTEED ATTENDANCE
A guaranteed number of guests attending
your food and beverage function is required
three (3) working days prior to the event. If
the number is not received, the estimated number
of guests at the time of booking will be taken
as the guarantee for billing.
SHIPPING, RECEIVING, STORAGE
Minimal amounts of material or supplies
for your function may be delivered to Milky Way
Café one (1) working day prior to your
function. Boxes must be marked and addressed
properly with the name and the date of the
meeting or function clearly indicated.
PRICES
Prices quoted are guaranteed for sixty
(60) days.
DISPLAY MATERIALS
We have provided hooks in designated areas to
hang your posters and other materials. Please do
not use adhesive/masking/duct tape on any wall
or ceiling surface. Only 3M Magic Tape and Thumb
tacks may be used if necessary. It is the
responsibility of the client to advise the event
decorators of this rule.
SOUND SYSTEM
Use of the Sound System is complimentary. We
require you however to hire our Disc Jockey at
the special rate of P3,000 for up to 4 hours.
Please advise our staff if you wish to avail of
our Disc Jockey's services.
START AND FINISH TIMES and MININUM
FOOD CONSUMPTION (MFC)
Starting and ending times of all
functions and their corresponding Minimum Food
Consumption are to be strictly adhered to. The
space is only booked for the time indicated.
Setup and dismantling times are to be specified
at the time of booking.
FOOD FROM OUTSIDE THE RESTAURANT
Milky Way Café does not allow any food to
be brought in from the outside with the
exception of birthday or wedding cakes.
NUMBER OF GUESTS
The Client agrees to pay for the
guaranteed minimum number of persons
notwithstanding the fact that the actual number
of persons served is less than the guaranteed
number. Should the number of persons actually
served exceed the number of persons guaranteed,
the client agrees to pay for the additional
persons served over and above the guaranteed
number of persons. Milky Way Café will be
prepared to serve up to ten percent (10%) in
addition to the minimum guaranteed number of
guests. The number of persons attending any
function will be counted by an employee of Milky
Way Café whose count will be accepted as
final.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Should you need to cancel your event,
you are required to notify the General Manager
of Milky Way Café in writing, at least
thirty days in advance of the function date. If
you cancel your function more than 30 days prior
to the function date, you will be asked to
consume your downpayment within three (3) months
of your cancellation date. If you cancel your
function less than thirty days prior to the
function date your fifty (50%) downpayment will
be forfeited. If you cancel less than 72 hours
before your function, you will be billed one
hundred percent (100%) of the cost of your
function.
PAYMENT POLICY
A fifty (50%) downpayment is required
to confirm your reservation payable by Check to
CAFÉ J. The balance is due on the day of
the event.
