Who We Are
Milky Way Café, opened in December 2002, is the creation of Chef J. Gamboa, known for his work at Cirkulo Restaurant. Returning to his roots, Chef Gamboa envisioned a dining and meeting space that highlights nostalgia while incorporating elements from Milky Way's 60-year history. The result is a bright and airy atmosphere designed by Architect Gary Coscolluela, featuring narra walls, granite counters, molded ceilings, and solihiya chairs, all contributing to the restaurant's old-world charm.
The shelves are adorned with special homemade products from Milky Way’s line of preserves and native delicacies. The café offers an international menu typical of hotel coffee shops, but without the 5-star prices. Diners can choose from a wide selection of Filipino dishes that Milky Way is famous for, all prepared by the original cooks from the 1960s. Highlights include Crispy Hito with Bagoong and Mustasa, Baby Crispy Pata, the award-winning Milky Way Kare Kare, US Bistek Tagalog, Tokwa’t Baboy, Pancit Luglug, and Dinuguan at Puto. Not to be missed are the signature Milky Way Halo Halo and homemade ice cream.
The café also provides private function rooms that can accommodate 10 to 200 people. For added convenience, there is free basement parking and elevator access available for guests.
A few words from our team

Chef J GamboaFor the most part, our restaurants are ingredient-driven. I feel that when you use
the right ingredient, the right cooking method, and the right serving technique,
that's it, You let the food speak for itself."
